Chiropractic care provides effective pain relief and prevents issues

Dr. Zraik works with patients from all ages to provide chiropractic pain relief and preventative care. He believes that the relief of many sources of chronic pain doesn’t exist with addictive medications or substances or expensive surgeries, but with chiropractic care. Dr. Zraik has gained the respect of the patients and the community by providing exceptional care and treats  conditions such as low back pain, sports injuries, arthritis, and scoliosis. Dr. Zraik also is experienced in adjusting extremities and treating conditions such as shoulder impingement, carpal tunnel, ankle sprains, knee pain, and plantar fasciitis.

Dr. Zraik built a connection to Waukesha County during college education

Dr. Zraik grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but he attended high school in Beirut, Lebanon. After coming back to the U.S. in 2013, he enrolled at UW-Milwaukee to study pre-physical therapy and chose to transfer to Carroll University to continue his education and had the opportunity to participate in sports.  Dr. Zraik enjoyed his time at Carroll University and built a connection with Waukesha County.

Career as a chiropractor began after football injury and concussion

Dr. Zraik’s initial encounter with chiropractic care began after a football injury that resulted in a concussion. He would wake up every day with a constant headache, and his only solution at that time was pain killers. After weeks of constant headaches, he decided to see his local chiropractor who helped him eliminate his headaches within a couple of visits.

At that time, Dr. Zraik was not sure if he wanted to pursue a physical therapy career or be a chiropractor, but after his experience with his local chiropractor his decision was clear.  Dr. Zraik enrolled at National University of Health Sciences immediately after receiving his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Carroll University in 2018.  During his time at National University of Health Sciences, Dr. Zraik completed several certifications, which include:

  • Cervical and Lumbar Traction,
  • Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Massage (IASTM),
  • Kinesiology Taping, and
  • Superficial Dry Needling (SDN).

Dr. Zraik focuses on patient communication and answering questions

When you see Dr. Zraik, you will find that he focuses on patient communication and providing compassionate chiropractic care.  He will answer all of your questions.  The four most common questions that patients ask include:

  1. Why do I need chiropractic care?
  2. Can chiropractic care help me?
  3. How long will chiropractic care take?
  4. How much will my care cost?

Dr. Zraik will provide answers to all of your questions and take the time to listen and understand your condition and/or pain.  He follows all of Chiro-Med’s protocols by following the treatment approach of properly documenting a patient’s care, including taking a history, performing a physical examination and diagnostics, interpreting diagnostics, identifying a proper diagnosis, and formulating a treatment plan. He will then re-evaluate and determine the progress being made and eventually teach proper home exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and balance to prevent future pain and injuries.
